Swarkestone
Sailing Club Jct 3 A50 South of Derby
| Our
two Family/Information Days in 2006 and 2007 were a huge
success. We try to have a mixture of those with FAP, their
relatives, friends and health professionals. A variety
of speakers to give the oppportunity for everyone to ask
questions and receive answers either on the day or afterwards
if needed.
This seems to
have worked and Swarkestone 2008 continued the good
work with 40 attending including a visitor from Germany.
The venue Swarkestone
Sailing Club on the A50 south of Derby is an ideal setting
and in 2007 an added interest was a quick trip on the
lake in one of the rescue boats for those with the courage.
